Welcome to Aftros, LLC. We respect your privacy, and we describe here what personal information we collect, what we do with it, and your choices and rights. By using our sites, products, services, dashboards, and any other services or applications offered by Aftros (the “Services”), you confirm you have agreed to the Aftros Terms of Service and have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you are in California, the California Residents section below provides additional information in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).
1. Key Terms
In our Privacy Policy, when we refer to Users, we mean our online users (“Users” or “you”) who use the Aftros Services (“Sellers”). All capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings in our Terms of Service.
2. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes what we do with personal information that we collect about you, such as your Account Information and information about how you use and interact with our Services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to personal information of our employees or job applicants, except to the extent employees or job applicants are Users. Additionally, please note that sites, products, and services of third parties are subject to their own separate privacy policies.
3. Personal Information We Collect
Personal information is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. We collect various categories of personal information regarding you or your device in order to provide, improve, promote, and protect our Services.
(a) Account Information. When you sign up for the Services, Aftros may collect your name, email address, address, and phone number.
(b) Payment Information. When you sign up for the Services, Aftros may collect your payment information such as your credit or debit card and your address. Aftros passes your payment information to a tokenization service through an encrypted channel, and in exchange receives from the service a payment token, which Aftros associates with your Aftros Account. Aftros only stores tokenized payment information, and does not store your complete payment information.
(c) Communications with Customer Support. Aftros collects emails and other communications that you send us, such as customer support inquiries.
(d) Usage Information. Aftros collects information related to how you use the Services, including actions you take in your Aftros Account. We use this information to provide, improve, promote, and protect our Services, and protect Aftros Users. This information includes items viewed, items purchased, timestamps, clicks, scrolling, browsing times, searches, transactions, referral pages, load times, and problems such as loading errors.
(e) Device and Browser Information. Aftros collects information from and about the devices you use to access the Services. This includes things like IP addresses, the type of browser and device you use, mobile phone number, mobile operator or ISP, connection speed, the web page you visited before coming to our sites, and identifiers associated with your devices. Your devices, depending on their settings, may also transmit location information to the Services. We use device information to detect abuse and identify and troubleshoot bugs.
(f) Information from Cookies and Similar Technologies. We use technologies like cookies and pixel tags to provide, improve, promote, and protect our Services. For example, cookies help us with things like remembering your username for your next visit, understanding how you are interacting with our Services, and improving the Services based on that information. You can set your browser to not accept cookies, but this may limit your ability to use the Services. More information about how we use cookies is provided in our Cookie Policy. We may also collect mobile advertising IDs, such as IDFA and AAID.
(g) Marketing and Advertising Partners. We may collect personal information from our partners to support our marketing initiatives, improve our Services, and better monitor, manage, and measure our ad campaigns, such as details when a partner displays one of our advertisements on or via its advertising platform.
4. How We Use Your Personal Information
We may use your personal information for a variety of business purposes, including:
(a) Provide the Services. If you have a Aftros Account, Aftros will use your personal information to provide the Services, including without limitation to: (i) enable one-click checkout, a buyer dashboard, and related features for you; (ii) verify your identity in order to approve transactions; (iii) personalize your shopping experience; (iv) monitor your online behavior to identify potentially fraudulent, prohibited, or illegal transactions, including through the use of automated decision-making technologies; and (v) communicate with you about your purchases, such as to provide shipping and returns updates.
(b) Improve the Services. Aftros may use your personal information: (i) to analyze and learn about how the Services are accessed and used; (ii) to evaluate and improve our Services including by developing new products and services and managing our communications; (iii) to monitor and measure the effectiveness of our advertising; and (iv) for other legally permissible purposes. We usually do this based on anonymous, pseudonymized, or aggregated information which does not focus on you individually. For example, if we learn that most Users use a particular integration or feature, we might wish to expand on that integration or feature.
(c) Promote the Services. If you use the Services, we may, from time to time, send you information about Aftros sales, marketing, promotions, and related materials. Users who receive these marketing materials can opt out at any time. If you don’t want to receive a particular type of marketing material from us, click the “unsubscribe” link in the corresponding emails. We may also analyze your interactions with our Services and third-party sites and services so we can tailor our advertising to what we think will interest you. For example, we may decide not to advertise our Services on a social media site if you already signed up for our Services, or we may choose to serve you a particular advertisement based on what we think may interest you. Additionally, we may use personal information to promote or advertise the Services, including: (i) notifying you about offers and services that may be of interest to you; (ii) tailoring content, advertisements, and offers for you; (iii) conducting market research; (iv) developing and marketing new products and services and measuring interest in the Services; and (v) other purposes disclosed at the time you provide personal information.
(d) Protect the Services. We use personal information to protect the security and integrity of our Services, enforce our Terms of Service and other legal terms and policies, and protect Aftros’s and others’ interests, rights, and property, such as to protect our Users from abuse.
(e) Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies. We, as well as third parties that provide content, advertising, or other functionality on the Services, may use cookies, pixel tags, and other technologies such as mobile advertising IDs including IDFA and AAID, to collect information through the Services, help us personalize and improve the Services, measure the effectiveness of ads, and prevent fraud and abuse of the Services. (f) Administrative and Compliance Purposes. Aftros may use your personal information for administrative and compliance purposes, including without limitation: (i) to respond to your questions, comments, and other requests for customer support, technical support, or information, including information about potential or future services; (ii) to provide you access to certain areas, functionalities, and features of the Services, including providing you with customized Services (for example, using your location information to determine your language preferences or display accurate date and time information); (iii) for internal quality control purposes; (iv) to communicate with you about your Aftros Account and the Services, including by sending emails to the email address you provide to us to verify your account and for informational and operational purposes, such as account management, customer service, or system maintenance, and changes to Aftros policies; (v) to enforce our agreements; (vi) to administer surveys, contests, and similar promotions; (vii) for legal compliance, such as to comply with applicable legal requirements including tax and other government regulations; (viii) to enforce our contracts; and (ix) to comply with law enforcement requests.
5. How We Share Your Personal Information
We may share your personal information as set forth below:
(a) With Sellers. We share your personal information with Sellers from whom you purchase or seek to purchase products or services, in order to provide, improve, and protect the Services. For example, we need to share your name, address, email address, and phone number with Sellers in order for them to ship your items or contact you for further information about your order. Personal information we share with Sellers will be subject to the Seller’s privacy policy. Please note that Sellers may use your personal information to send you marketing or similar communications. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or other practices of Sellers.
(b) With Platform Partners and Content Providers. We may share your personal information with Platform Partners and Content Providers that integrate with and help us provide, improve, promote, and protect the Services. For example, we may share your address with our e-commerce partners so that they can facilitate delivery of any items you may have purchased, or information about your Aftros Account with Content Providers where you previously used the Services, so they can identify you as a returning user.
(c) With Service Providers. We share information with Service Providers to assist us with providing, improving, promoting, and protecting the Services, including payments and transaction information, data storage and analytics, information technology and related infrastructure, corporate governance, auditing, communications, customer service, marketing, security, fraud- and risk-analysis, and related services. Aftros requires Service Providers to maintain the security and confidentiality of information we share with them, and not to use it for any purpose other than that for which Aftros provided the information.
(d) Affiliates. We may share personal information with our Affiliates when it is reasonably necessary or desirable, such as to help provide services to you or analyze and improve the services we or they provide. “Affiliate” means any entity that, directly or indirectly, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with Aftros.
(e) Advertising Partners. We share information regarding your activities, such as your IP address, cookie identifier, page(s) visited, and time of day, with our or Sellers’ or Content Providers’ third-party advertising partners, or allow them to use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies to collect such information. These advertising partners may use this information, and similar information collected from other sites, for purposes of delivering targeted advertisements to you when you visit non-Aftros related sites within their networks. If you prefer that we do not share this information with third-party advertising partners, you may opt out of such sharing by following the instructions in our Cookie Policy.
(f) Disclosures to Protect Aftros or Others. We disclose your personal information if we determine that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with the law, protect our or others’ rights, property or interests (such as enforcing our Terms of Service) or prevent fraud or abuse of Aftros or our Users or Sellers. In particular, we may disclose your personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, such as to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
(g) Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers. If we are involved in a reorganization, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that deal or the negotiation of contemplated deals.
(h) International Data Transfers. All personal information collected by Aftros will be transferred to and stored in the United States. By choosing to visit our site, utilize the Services or otherwise provide information to us, you acknowledge that your personal information may be transferred to countries outside of your country of residence, including the United States, which may have different data protection rules to those of your country.
6. How to Exercise Your Rights
You can elect not to receive marketing communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in such communications. Additionally, you can access, update, request a copy of, change, or delete personal information (or delete your Aftros Account) either directly in your Aftros Account or by contacting us at privacy@Aftros.co. Please note that we may need to verify your identity in connection with your requests and the verification process may, if you do not have access to your Aftros Account, require you to provide us with additional information (e.g., government identification). Even if you have access to your Aftros Account, we may request additional information if we believe it is necessary to verify your identity. If we are unable to verify your identity or request, we may not be able to fulfill your request. We will process all such requests in accordance with applicable laws. Please note that, for technical reasons, there is likely to be a delay in deleting your personal information from our systems when you ask us to delete it. Furthermore, please note that if you wish to exercise your privacy rights with respect to any third party, you should contact them directly; Aftros can only honor requests with respect to the Services.
7. Data Security and Retention
(a) Security. While no service is completely secure, we have a security team dedicated to keeping your personal information safe. We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards that are intended to appropriately protect against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, unauthorized alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, misuse, and any other unlawful form of processing, of the personal information in our possession.
(b) Retention. We retain the personal information we receive as described in this Privacy Policy for as long as your Aftros Account exists or as long as we need it to provide you the Services. We also will retain personal information in order to comply with the law, protect our and others’ rights, resolve disputes or enforce our legal terms or policies, or to the extent otherwise permitted under applicable law. Please note that in the course of providing the Services, we collect and maintain aggregated, anonymized, or de-personalized information which we may retain indefinitely.
8. Updates to this Privacy Policy
Aftros reserves the right to modify the Privacy Policy at any time by updating this site. If we determine that a modification meaningfully reduces your rights, we will notify you by any reasonable means, which may include posting the change to our Services to this page or providing you with electronic notice, and we will designate a reasonable period after which the new Privacy Policy will take effect. If you continue to use the Services after such changes have taken effect, the modified Privacy Policy will be applicable to you.

10. Jurisdiction-Specific Language
(a) European Union, European Economic Area (“EEA”), Switzerland, or the United Kingdom. As set forth in Section 5(g), above, all personal information collected by Aftros will be transferred to and stored in the United States. When transferring data from the EU, EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Aftros relies upon a variety of legal mechanisms, such as contracts with our customers and affiliates, Standard Contractual Clauses, and the European Commission's adequacy decisions about certain countries, as applicable. Our legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described in this Privacy Policy will depend on the personal information concerned and the specific context in which we collect it. However, Aftros takes reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we collect is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete, and up to date. If you wish to learn more about specific legal grounds we rely on to process your personal information for any particular purpose (including any legitimate interests we have to process this information), please contact us as provided in Section 9. If you are a consumer located in the state of California, USA, we process your personal information in accordance with the CCPA. This section provides additional details about the personal information we collect and use.

Exercising the right to delete: You may request that we delete the personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain limitations under applicable law.
Non-discrimination: The CCPA provides that you may not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Exercising the Right to Opt Out from a “Sale”. California residents may opt out of the "sale" of their personal information. The CCPA broadly defines "sale" in a way that may include allowing third parties to receive certain information such as cookie identifiers, IP addresses and/or browsing behavior to add to a profile about your device, browser or you. Such profiles may enable delivery of interest-based advertising by such third parties within their platform or on other sites.
